Discretion is the whole point of the Society, so this policy is short. We collect as little as we can, share it with no one who does not need it, and delete it as soon as we are able.

Who is responsible

Vesper Society Ltd, company number 00000000, is the data controller. Contact us on WhatsApp.

What we collect, and why

• Booking details: your name (a first name is enough), a WhatsApp number, the companion, date, time, duration and occasion, and any notes you give us. We use these to arrange and confirm your appointment. The lawful basis is performance of a contract with you.
• Payment references: the booking reference and the amount received. We do not see or store card details. Bank and crypto transactions are visible to us only as they appear in our own accounts. The lawful basis is contract and our legal obligation to keep accounting records.
• Messages: what you write to the concierge on WhatsApp, which is held by WhatsApp under its own terms.

We do not collect anything else. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this website.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies. When you confirm that you are 18 or over, a single flag is stored in your browser's local storage so that you are not asked again on this device. It is never sent to us. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in the ordinary course of serving the files.

Who we share it with

Only the companion you are meeting, and only what the appointment requires: a first name, the time, the place, and anything you have asked us to pass on. New requests are relayed to the concierge's phone through a WhatsApp messaging service, which handles the booking details only for as long as it takes to deliver them. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share personal information. We will disclose information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Booking details are deleted within 90 days of the appointment. Accounting records that the law requires us to keep, which contain the booking reference and amount but not your notes, are kept for six years.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing of it. Message us on WhatsApp and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights without telling you first.
