Kept small, kept private.
The Society exists to do one thing well: introduce members to good company, quietly, and without any of the machinery that usually comes with it.
What the Society is
Vesper Society is a private introduction service. Members book a companion for a private appointment: a dinner, a gala, a first night at the theatre, a weekend away, or simply an evening of good conversation. We operate by appointment only, from London, and we keep no public premises.
That is a choice rather than an omission. Private chefs, personal tailors and members' clubs have always worked this way. The service comes to you, and what you deal with is a person rather than a place.
Discretion
We hold the minimum information needed to arrange an appointment, and we keep it no longer than we must. We do not run mailing lists, we do not share names between members and companions beyond what is needed for the evening, and we never discuss who we have introduced to whom. Payments by bank transfer appear on your statement under our registered company name, Vesper Society Ltd, and nothing else.
Vetting
Every companion in the circle has been met in person, referenced, and introduced by invitation. We look for people who are good company first: well-read, well-travelled, at ease in a room, and kind. The circle is deliberately short, and it changes slowly.
Where we meet
Appointments take place at your location or at a private venue of your choosing: a restaurant, a club, an event, a hotel bar, or a city you are travelling to. The concierge will help with logistics if you would like, and will stay out of the way if you would not.
Rates, plainly
Each companion sets an hourly rate. It is shown on their profile, shown again on the booking page, and the total is calculated in front of you before you send anything. Rates may change over time, but the rate you see when you book is the rate you pay. There are no hidden fees and no surprises on the day.
What we are not
We are not a dating service and we are not a shop. Fees are for a companion's time and company only. The Society does not arrange, offer, or accept payment for anything else, and companions are free to end any appointment in which they feel uncomfortable.
The concierge
Every arrangement runs through one concierge, on WhatsApp, every day. You will deal with the same person from first message to final confirmation. If you would rather talk before you book, start there.
